Meal Planning Monday (3 June 2013)

Yum

Another week is about to start and this one is going to be hectic! With a very busy few days in the office planned, as well as my Dads birthday, we're going to need to be organised with our meals if we stand any chance of keeping away from the takeaways and focussed on healthy eating!

You can find more meal plans on At home with Mrs M's blog here or take a look at my past meal plan for more inspiration! So, after the usual Sunday night fridge/freezer/cupboard check, here's my meal plan for the week:

Monday
Turkey Curry and rice (and its not even Christmas!)

Tuesday
The last of our Hello Fresh meals - Mexican Chicken & Refried Beans

Wednesday
Do not judge fellow foodies.. do not judge. Toby Carvery (my nanna's choice) for my Dads birthday

Thursday
Pork chops, steamed potatoes and green beans

Friday
Something with butternut squash - either this or this (if I remember to buy feta that is!)

Saturday
BBQ at ours with my parents, weather dependant! Kebabs, halloumi and sausages with side salads and probably a big bowl of cous cous.

Sunday
Pot roast beef with steamed veg and creamy mash!

Have a good week everyone! And happy meal planning :-)

  2. Thanks Kim! Yes, lets just stick to it and avoid snacking - trying to be a bit healthier this week (minus the carvery!) :-)

    1. Sometimes you just need a carvery! Its the only place where a mountainous overloaded plate is acceptable!teehee!

    2. Exactly - and it is practically obligatory to have TEN roast potatoes, which would be frowned upon anywhere else!!

    1. Thank you! We've stuck to it too - although BBQ might have to wait another week unfortunately.
